Film Club Aotearoa

How it works

Find someone. Ask for
a conversation.

A community built around useful conversations.

No fixed programme. No long-term commitment. A conversation can be a single exchange or the beginning of something more — that's up to the two of you.

What could you talk about?

A conversation can be about whatever is useful to you — something you're working on, something you're trying to understand, a creative problem, a technical question, career or industry experience, feedback, or simply learning from someone who has done it before.

Actors
Auditions, performance, career decisions.
Directors
Scripts, directing actors, visual language.
Cinematographers
Lighting, lenses, prep, collaboration.
Editors
Story, workflow, collaboration.
Producers
Development, production, financing.
